My Book WDBBGB is not backing up the files I selected

I just purchased a 6TB My Book WDBBGB drive. I followed directions to back up my C: drive, which has almost 2TB of files. The My Drive only backs up about 225 GB and then says it’s finished. I have triple checked all files are selected.
