Hi the drive works on the port, but Windows says that it could work faster on another port.

I have Windows 7 and have seen a few people have the same problem with USB 3.0 devices in-gerneral.  I am using a 3.0 cable.  Does anyone have any ideas?  The NEC USB 3.0 drivers are working corrrectly in Device Manager.  I have uninstalled nad reinstalled them.   Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this work at USB 3.0 speeds?

Are your 3.0 drivers up to date?

Is USB 3.0 enabled in your bios?

I added a USB 3.0 PCI E card and it is plugged into that.
