Hello, I use different WDC HDDs since years. Now i have a new My Book Studio 2TB (Model WDBAAJ0020HSL), connected at Firewire 800 WinXPSP3 PC. The drive is formatted with NTFS. I’m very frustrated, because this drive is extremely slow. The other drives (Model WD5000H1Q and WD10000H1Q) - which were connected on USB 2.0 and Firewire 800 - are much faster (appr. 2x…3x faster!)
