My Book Studio 1TB - Can't edit files or chance folder names

hello,

i have been using this drive attached my home network, saving downloaded files and reaching from my laptop without any issues.

but somehow i cannot rename folders or edit the documents even i change user preferences to giving full control to all users.

my folder i.e “my movies” on the drive remains “read only” and cannot disable it.

need help on the issue, thanks in advance

Hi there, can you at least change the permissions when connected directly? It could be that the drive is not allowing more control for being on a network without having a native NAS controller o.o
