My Book Recognized, HD Not

My My Book quit responding after just over a year.  The My Book is recognized by my PC, and the blue button logo shows up in the system tray, and the HD shows up in my My Computer Manager, but not accessable, etc.

Where my HD used to show up in the logo button in the system tray is now greyed out.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
