My Book Pro - Increasing capacity

Hi,
I have the My Book Pro 8tb edition.

The manual states that must replace the drives with WD black drives only (mentions the warranty). The product is out of warranty…

Can I use any set of disks to increase the capacity?

For example a set of 2x12tb My Book Essential, remove the drives from the essential product and put the two drives into the My Book Pro?
