My Book not able to unlock since update

Hi,

This is my first post here. I own a My Book, which I bought a few years back. I used to use it on a Windows system, but two years ago I bought a macbook pro. I have been using it without any troubles until recently, when my macbook got an update to MacOS Mojave.

I haven’t been able to open my WD Smartware ever since, which is what I used to unlock my drive, as the WD Unlocker never worked on this Macbook in the first place.

What do I do?

You should connect My Book with previous computer (Windows) and take a backup of important data files. As after the OS update, some file formats may not support or data files get corrupt. You should check after changing the file system format of drive into compatible.
