Hello, I have a WD “My Book Mirror” external drive for backing up photos. This external drive has 2 hard drives. My question is: How can I confirm that both of the two hard drives inside this My Book Mirror both have the same photo files, i.e. both drives are supposed to mirror each other, in case one fails, I still have the other one. But how can I individually access each of the two hard drives to confirm that my images are on both of them? Thanks Steve
Hello there, welcome to the community.
You cannot access one of the drive individually while they are on the enclosure, maybe taking them out and connecting them to a computer to check, but I wouldn’t really try it with information I don’t have a second copy of.
