I have a 1TB my book live that was on mionet. I did the firmware update and converted to WG 2go and all was well for several days. I deleted mionet from my PC and WD 2go has disappeared. So I now own a boat anchor. Has anyone had a similar experience?

WD2go doesn’t have an installable client on your PC like Mionet used to have, you access WD2go from the WD2go website.
You didn’t actually have to install anything on any computers to access files on the MyBook Live under the older firmware. The client side processing was performed within the MyBook Live.
