My Book Live vanished from network! Please help!

very strange that several of us had the same component fail in the same timeframe.  I’m sure the data on my drive is probably ok as well, just a NIC issue.  WD support called me and sent an email wanting more info, so my guess is they’ve seen a sudden influx of these.

I apologzie, I wrote that it was a failed component. I meant to say they diagnosed it as a failed controller. Again, very helpful! Although, I am not happy that I have to go get my data retrieved off of it at my own expense, I am happy that my data is likely still there. I heard no sounds of clicking or any other signs of a failed drive.
