My Book Live restarts when largue files are used

This has been reported before, with some cases closed with no solution.
I’ve tried to contact service support with no answer until now… that warranty has expired.
The system worked flawlessly until some update, some years ago. Since then, when I transfer any largue file, the unit works for some seconds and then it restarts. Green light goes off, unit is unreachable… and goes back to life in a minute or so.
I have reinstalled latest firmware twice, with no results.

Any real and official solution? Now, the unit is out of warranty and I no longer have confidence in WD products or support.

The dashboard isn’t logging you a case, so we’re looking into it. In the meantime, you can create a case with support through the link I gave you above. Since this is associated with a firmware update, you should have support help you.

I have filled that support form many times in the last years.
I’ve done it again with this description some minutes ago:

The unit restarts while copying largue files. It works for some seconds
and, then, it resets. If I stop the transfer before the transfer gets to 0
Kb/s, it doesn’t restart. But it is unusable.

I have restored the unit, reinstalled the firmware, changed wires, used
different quality Ethernet wires, changed router, tried direct connection,
hub, switch and different OS.
