Hi,

I was just wondering about a situation if my MY BOOK LIVE is on and running and suddenly a power - cut happens, what would be the effect - in shorter and longer term.

Same as any other hard-disk based computer.  Maybe you’ll lose data, maybe you won’t.  Maybe it’ll damage the hardware, maybe it won’t.
