Can I replace the faulty HDD with any 4TB drive, or does it has to be the exact model?

Normally, WD recommends that you use the same line of drives if is not the same, something that is almost the same.

If both HDDs must be identical, can I insert two HDDs from other manufacturer / other sizes (like two 8TB for example)?

Hi, I have searched but cannot find two things: Can I replace the HDDs in my Duo by simply replacing one then rebuilding the raid? then doing the other Can I increase the capacity of my 2TB Duo (2 x 2TB RAID 1) by doing this with 3TB or 4TB disks? Thanks Chopsus
