When I do a scheduled WD smartware backup, files that have the same file name but a newer date/time tag wil lnot replace the older file. I have to identify all files in this category and use a different bacjkup methid. Is ther any way to do this within WD smartware?
By default Smartware will keep 5 versions of the same file, if you wish to have only one version per file you can change that option from the setup menu. Check page 63 of the manual for more information.
