I dropped my "My Book Home Edition WD3200H1CS " and now it makes a sound like a phone busy signal ! I’ve tried to find a troubleshooting guide for my model without success . The white LED’s go to a constant on state . I believe when I used to go to “My Computer” it would show up as an external device but it no longer does ! Any help would be appreciated .
I dropped mine as well, to get if going I have to give it a little shake. Not a high tech solution, but it works for me.
Sometimes I need to kill the power and restart for Windows to see it.
