My Book Essential Reformatting Question

Hello,

I have a External Drive (My Book Essential) that I need to Erase.

Once I Erase the Drive do I have to download any drivers or Software on to it?

I already have the latest Version of WD Smartware (2.2.1) Running on my Windows 7 Computer.

You may download the SES Driver and WD SmartWare installer into the unit as copies in case you need to install them again as they do not run from within the drive, so erasing those files does not affect the installed copies on your system.
