I’m newbie here and it’s my first question/

How can I check out what is the internal HDD model No of My Book Essential models WDBAAF0020HBK and WDBACW0020HBK?

the only what you can do that is to open the case and look inside.  but you do run the risk of voiding your warranty to do it.  also, since you have a smartware drive, then you won’t be able to use the internal drives.  they are hardware encrypted and you won’t be able read them without the case bridge board.
