I plug in the external drive. Nothing comes on the screen. I am running Windows XP. All the drive does, it makes clicking sounds and than a buzz, it repeats over and over. light blinks in the drive. Tryed on a different computer, same results. Friend has same external drive… Tryed it with her connecting cords and mine. Just got the drive, can not access it.

That’s normally related to a power issue. Make sure tto connect the drive directly to the wall outlet and the USB cable back to the USB ports.
