Hey Guys.
My My Book Essential 3.0 1TB isn’t recognized by the system. At first it would work a few times, which allowed me to save important files but now not even that. I’ve tried most solutions and here’s what happens:
When I plug it in, after some minutes it shows up with the letter K assigned in My Computer. There is no information displayed about the disk space. It just shows Local Disk (K:).
If I try to access disk management it just freezes saying it’s “Loading Disk Configuration Information…”. If I plug it in after disk management is already opens, it shows up with the correct space but no other information.
In the Device Manager, it also shows up but any interaction with it causes the manager to stop responding.
Any ideas?
