My Book Essential 2TB USB 3.0 External storage - legacy system problem

Are there any of you super geeks out there that can tell me if it is possible to get this drive working on Windows NT server 4.0? I know that sometime are ways to get windows 2000 drivers to work but I don’t know how to do that. I have installed a basic set of USB drivers for the machine that I found, I can get a thumbdrive to work if it is formatted ntfs only. There is a utility that shows when a device is plugged in, the My Book, shows up, but a drive letter never gets allocated. More of a stupid project than anything else. It is however the only PC that I have with a parallel port to use with my non-networkable printer.

As far as I know Windows NT can only use partitions up to 137GB. It may be possible to partition the hard drive in a different system, but driver support is physical. Unfortunately, there are no dedicated drivers for this system and any WD USB 3.0 device.
