That’s the reason  I’m saying what I’m saying…

A serious company like WD should provide with a user friendly solution to their customer when their hardware fails…

No one should buy the same old model nas or external hard drive just for recovering data which are there…

At least they could guarantee that buying a fresh today’s wd model, would support previous HDDs and RAID setups!!!

Ok, I think I can conclude that to solve my problem, these are the ways:

  1. Get another external hard drive which is same model

  2. Get another hard disk PCB board with same model

  3. Back up the drive data to another drive, format the drive and try recovery?
