My Book Essential 1TB does not start only i.e. the lights on the hard disk do not blink when I connect the drive to the power supply. Can someone help me out on this if they faced a similar problem like this ? Also does this mean that whether the hard disk is damaged or only the power cord is not working ?
I have ordered a replacement from WD. But will I get the data back from my old hard disk ?? Does WD provide any help on recovering back my data ?
