Drive was working perfectly until the power was unplugged. Finder shows the Smartware software, but not the “my book” drive & files.
The smartware software says that the drive is unlocked, the light on the unit is illuminated, I have never set up a password for it.
Have plugged it into a windows machine with the exact same result.
I have been using this drive for my time machine backup and photo storage.
When viewing the drive in disk utility, it recognises it as a 1tb, but suggests it needs repairing, but the disk utility cannot repair it.
How can I get access to my files???
