I purchased two empty My Book Hard drive Enclosures but there are no assembly instructions. I figured out everything except this small piece of clear plastic which I’m sure has something to do with the light on the front of the enclosure, but I have no idea where it goes or how to install it.
I assembled it without the plastic piece and the drive works and mounts just fine but the drive light does not function.
Can someone solve the mystery of where this piece goes so that the drive light will function?

I don’t have experience assembling My Book Enclosures. It is my understanding this enclosures are not sold separately. Maybe another user has experience and can help you with this.
Can you please share the model number of the enclosures you bought?
