I have a laptop which runs Window 7 and I’m running Raid 1 with no problems. I also want to back up my Vista Business PC and for some reason it won’t back up; it comes up with this message " NO WRITABLE PARTITION FOUND". I contacted support and they told me to download the programs from their website not from My Book Duo. This didn’t make any difference at all. Here is a screen shot of what happens - disable back up. Need it to say BACK UP. Thanks in advance.

Since you are having issues with the computer at work and It is possible your user does not have permissions in order to run the software I recommend you contact your IT department just to rule out that cause.

Thanks Hamlet for your assistance. All permissions check out okay. It’s frustrating because I can plugin my old Astone 1T external hard drive and it backs up with no problems on the Vista Computer. I think it’s time to change my operating system on the computer!!!
