I’m considering purchasing a My Cloud PR4100, but wanted to find out if a particular configuration was supported. If I connect a JBOD configured My Book Duo to the My Cloud PR4100 as an external drive, will both the drives from the My Book Duo be mounted on the PR4100? I happened to see the following support article, which made me wonder if the My Cloud would be able to mount both drives from the My Book Duo.
An external USB drive mounting as Logical Unit Number One (LUN 1 ) is not supported on a My Cloud.
My Cloud will only mount the USB drive when assigned LUN 0.
