Hello there,

I just purchaed the 12TB version of My Book Duo.

I am using it for video editing with RAID 1.

First i noticed only the white power LED turns on. The other two below (activity LEDS) have never turned on. Why is that?

The drive keeps disconnecting and reconnecting itself in seconds to my PC which is really annoying when copying something or while I’m editing. It is connected via USB 3.0. Any suggestions why this is happening?

Hello and welcome to the community,

Make sure the drive is plugged in directly into a wall outlet. Avoid any extension cords, power strips and surge protectors. Sometimes they don’t provide enough power to make the drive spin up properly.
