My Book ALIAS - now unreadable

Hi,

This week I had to force reboot my IMAC cause an application was blocked.
After the reboot the My Book Studio drive wasn’t visible in my finder anymore, although on my desktop there was an ‘My Book studio Alias’.
When clicking on it, the drive totally disappeared.
The LED is not lighting up anymore, tried to plug in the drive in my MacBook.
Didn’t help either.

Used the drive for my Time Machine Backup.

What to do?

Hello, have you tried using a different cable? You could also connect the drive to a Windows computer and check the drive with the DLG.
