My Book 8TB Quick and Complete Drive Tests both failed, won't mount

Purchased this in Feb 2018. It’s already failed. I have about 3.5 TB data on it. SMART drive test is ok. Both Quick and Complete Drive Tests failed. I don’t move the unit around and the only time that I did, it was handled with care and packed in its original package and well protected. My MacOS is 10.14.6. WD Model is WDBBGB0080HBK-NESN.

For a while it wouldn’t dismount/eject and I’d have to shut down the laptop in order to remove the USB. If my laptop goes to sleep, the image of the My Book stays on the desktop but is inaccessible. I’d try to eject it at that point and it’d say it’s busy and it’d take forever.

I’d like to know what the test results mean and the other symptoms I mentioned, and what I can do to retrieve the data?

Can I get a replacement because it’s still so new. Three years warranty.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.
