My Book 8TB Dead after plugged in Laptop PSU by mistake

My 8TB WDBBGB0080HBK-NA disk died after I plugged in the 19 volt PSU from my Asus laptop into the disk. The drive was connected to the wrong PSU for a few minutes, and now it is not recognized any more by windows computers. It does not make any sounds or spin up. I believe I am above average computer handyman, and would like if there is anything I can do to get the disk working.

Hi Olarune,

Have you tried to connect the drive with any other power adapter of the same specification ? As the drive is not making any sound or spin up so there could be issue with the power adapter.
