Had this drive on my computer for 4 months. Just went to move it to a new computer and the USB socket on the back of the drive detached from the circuit board inside. Very frustrating. I’m sure the data on the drive is good. Still under warranty but what good is a new drive if I can’t get the data off this one. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to resolve it? I also opened a data recovery case with ESS in case I need their help before the replacement arrives. Thanks.
Look at the posts by fzabkar he is about the only one who understands the circuit board part.
