My book 2TB without the case

I have a “My book” 2TB

Model Number: WDC WD20EARS-00MVWB0 

Unit Serial Number: [[Deleted - Trancer]]

Firmware Number: 51.0AB51 

Capacity: 2000.40 GB 

And today it stopped working 

I opened the case and the card (not sure if it’s called like that) had a black part (burn)

I separeted the HDD from the case and the card. And connected it to the PC directly

when I conected it to the pc my windows was not able to see the HDD, it appeared as “un usigned”

I have a lot of information that I want to save. serching I find out that there is a chance that this disks are encrypted, is it true?

Is there any way I access the disk?

Is there any way that I can access the information without the carry case?
