I have a My Book external HDD (1 TB) that has fallen from my table on the ground.It was still working untill I detached it from my laptop .Now when I attach it again its light starts flashing and turns on but there’s no sign of its driver on my comouter.I can’t find it on Compueter Management panel either. Please help me.What can I do to bring it back.
It may be physically damaged and probably has corruput data now. Something like TestDisk http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk might restore partition data. If it’s physically damaged you’ll probably need professional data recovery.
