My computer screen seems to freeze when I try to click on My Book in My Computers. Starting last week when I clicked on My Book and tried to access it through My Computer, my screen freezes and the mouse stays in that loading position. Nothing can be moved or clicked on, the screen freezes entirely. After a while, my screen is unfroze and I can move my mouse and access My Book’s files. I’m afraid it’ll die on me soon and I would have to go through a long process to get all my data back. Any help?
My recommendation is to move the files from the drive and test the unit with HD Tune or DLG wish is a wd utility.
