I had the My Book attached to a Netgear R7900 AC1900. I did a firmware update to the router and have not been able to access the drive as a ReadyShare. I now have it connected to a Gateway GM1754 with Windows 7 Home. Checked the drive Properties and set System Security to Full Access for all users (only me). Saw that it was changing the properties on every folder but still cannot access the drive. The usage property show that the drive is full but the My Book screen shows it has over 350MB free remaining. Any ideas to correct?
Have you tried disabling all permissions and starting over? Is your Netgear router still working with other USB devices?
