My android app stopped seeing my MyBook Live

Don’t know what happened, but now wgen opening “My Cloud” android app I have to select “Add Device” label then I select the “WD Device” on “Manually Add” tab and then it asks for an activation code that I don’t know how to obtain.
Some time ago I used WD 2go but that app is deprecated, please help

Hi Robvic,

You should try to setting up a Mobile Access from the Remote Access tab on the dashboard of My Book Live and here, you will get a code to configure mobile access on My Cloud Mobile App. You may refer the page #97 from the manual of My Book Live for complete procedure.

I did it like you said and I could connect. The thing that worries me about is it said this will last only 48 hours, and I want to have it setup for good. I can’t find at the Google Play store the old WD 2go app I used before, any alternative?
