My 2tb book stopped being recognized by the computer

I have been using 11 WD  without problems so far, then i decided to buy a 2 TB hard disk and have been transferring data to it, with no apparent reason of a sudden the computer no longer recognizes it WHICH IT DID IN THE PAST and seems like i lost all data, even the computer offers to format the hard disk to be used.

Any idea? What’s this bad joke? Certainly 2tb disks aren t compliant with the usual WD standards

This issue happens in a different computer?  If so, you will need to format and repartition the drive.

If Windows offers to format your drives; this is an indication onboard file system corruption due to bad USB connection. Read this post. You may be able to recover your drives without formatting them by using HDD Regenerator 2011.

Be sure to use new/reliable USB cables and good USB port while recovering. It may take 24 hours to recover 2TB drive. Drive cooling is required.
