My 1 TB HDD doesn't get detected now

Hello, My 1 TB WD external HDD doesn’t seem to get detected in my laptop or any other laptop of that matter. The read light blinks continuously, but their is no vibration of any sort. I tired changing the USB cable and the AC adapter. Please any help

Hello,

Make sure the drive is plugged in directly into a wall outlet. It is possible the drive is not getting enough power to spin up properly.
