Help needed on next steps for My Book World Edition II 2 TB version. Device does not finish booting with bottom white light on and top light flashing. Eventually white light changes to flashing indicating over temp condition.

Device is out of warranty.
What options do I have for recovering data?
Can I swap drive A and B and access?
Do I replace dive A with replacement?
Recovery options depend on RAID mode. From a RAID 1 array you may be able to recover the information by means of direct disk drive access with utilities or systems that support EXT3 as a File System. RAID 0 on the other hand, does not feature fault tolerance.
