Great surprise this morning to see MCH IOS app now supporting music files. Ver 4.4.0 indicates this is for IOS and Web app - tried it and it works great! Would have been nice to see this feature much sooner than now but it is a relief to know that WD is still working to update this device.
Same for Android. It is a great feature. Better late then never.

It does not read m4a (aac) apparently.
Does anybody know what’s the quality on playback? I’m sure that it has been cut down, but what’s the numbers?
Great feature would be to resume playback from last position.
