just got a new WD 2T passport to use on my mobile DJ music worked ok for a few songs then it is like the song gets stuck .If you give it time it will take off again . Tried to different hard drives, to different computer’s . Help!

I’d recommend running a health test on your unit. It should be replaced under warranty if it fails any.

If your unit passes all tests then we could be looking a compatibility issue. If so, then perhaps it would be best to contact the manufacturer of your synthesizer or mixing console for recommendations or a list of supported hardware.
