Multiple TimeMachine backups to one TM Share?

Hello - I have an 8TB MyCloudEx2Ultra and have 2 partitions (non-RAID) of 4TB each. One partition has been designated as TimeMachine backup and I have successfully backed up on computer to it. However, when I attempt to create a second TimeMachine backup, it fails with a “backup could not be verified”. Is this a known issue? I found this thread but it is talking about multiple shares…

Multiple Timemachine spaces on EX2Ultra

Hello, I would like to use my NAS for multiple Macs backups. It works well with one share (when set as TimeMachine share), but I would like to use multiple shares so that I can improve security and adjust a different backup quota for each Mac. Unfortunately MyCloud GUI allows only one TimeMachine Backup for which the quota can be set. How to use multiple shares for TimeMachine on a WD NAS, and how to set for each share a quota ?
