I bought 2 My Book Elite USB Drives.
I am using(want to use) 1 as a storage drive and the other as a backup drive. The software is unable to backup the Elite storage drive.
I am able to backup other USB drives just not the My Book Elite.
I emailed Customer Service about this issue, here is their response:

We apologize, this feature is available, but not for another WD drive with the Smartware, if you have a WD external drive without the WD Smartware, you will be able to back it up, or if you have another internal drive as well.
