Multi zone audio output

I will be using this unit to play video from a USB hard drive through the HDMI cable. I would also like to use it for playing MP3 / M3U playlists and send the audio out to a Zone 2 amp.  My AV amp requires a analog audio signal in to send an analog audio signal out to the zone 2 amp. Does this unit output analog and digital audio simultaneously, or will I have to go into the setup menu and change it back and forth manually?

Hi there, you’ll have to manually change the output on the settings when needed.

and got the opposite answer.  And I confirmed that it works.
