I have a macbook pro with 2 USB ports. I would like to increase the amount of USB ports so that I can upload images with a card reader and at the same time put the images on 2 separate external hard drives. Right now have to have to card reader into one USB port and one external hard drive connected to the other USB. I cannot find a multi port USB that will work with WD My Passport for Mac external drives.The information that I’m finding states not to be used with WD external drives. Does anyone have a solution? TIA

You might be able to do that with a powered USB adapter. Let’s see if any of the users can share more information about it.
