.MP4 files stuttering playback

Ever since I have this product, I get this problem. Any .mp4 file I play in my WD Live Plus, no matter what firmware I use, I get a very stuttery playback, that is only fixed by stopping the playback, and later on resume playing it. This won’t happen to any ther files, or even the same .mp4 if I convert them to .mkv, which is really annoying.

Any one with the same problem? Any fix?
