Moving USB drive from My Cloud to a router after Safepoint has created a backup

I have created a Safepoint backup image on a USB directly attached to my My Cloud device. If I move the USB drive and attach it to my router will My Cloud still find the Safepoint image for updates?

No.
The drive is not connected to the USB port where it is expected.
If you can share the USB drive on your router, you can make a new Safepoint to the new made share on your router.
