Just relocated a 2TB Photos Library from a 4K iMac to an 8TB G-RAID with Thunderbolt 2. Works great. However, when I want to move an edited photo to my iMac desktop it doesn’t appear there. I’m sure this is a simple setting in Photos or in the iMac Finder…but have not as of yet been to make this happen. If I move the photo to the G-RAID Drive…then drag it to the iMac desktop, I get a notification indicating that the photo is already there on the desktop and do I want to replace it?
solved: simply needed to relaunch the finder…duh!
