Moving Jpeg files from Mac and PC into the same Eternal hard drive

I have many photos in my old Dell, which I do not use anymore.  I have been usinf Macbook Pro, and the number of photos in Macbook is steadily incrasing.

So here is a question.  Is it possible to store jpeg and Raw image files from Mac and jpeg files from PC in the same external hard drive?  The passport is formated for PC.  I wnat to file all the photos in the External hard drive.  I do not want Fat32.

You might need a third party application to get it working, I had a Mac a while back, and I use to use NTFS 3g, this allowed me to use NTFS formatted disks on my Mac, but I haven’t used it in a few years.

I found Paragon NTFS for Mac will do.
