Moving files from Mypassport to another drive

I am trying to move files from MyPassport to another external drive and it will not allow me to do that. I am assuming this is because I formatted my Mypassort for a Mac? But my other drive is also plugged into my mac? How can I resolve this??

Let me know, are you using it on your mac? My passport comes with the format NTFS by default, that format shows the info on your mac but as read only, my advice is to plug your drive on a pc, backup the info, format the drive to fat32 wich is a format accepted by mac and pc, and try again. check at this  http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/291/session/L3RpbWUvMTM3MTAwNTM2NS9zaWQvdGVrS3l3c2w%3D
